Great, now I'm hungry!

20Q

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.
Let's go!!!

From Bzoink

The 20Q Meme

1. When you buy a greetings card are the words or the picture more important to you?
Words are so much more important!

2. What's your favorite kind of cake?
Cake?  Did someone make cake?  I love cake.  Cake. Cake. Cake.  Oh, my favorite?  Any.  With carbs.  And frosting.  Yum.  Thanks, though.  Now I'm hungry and want cake.  Mmmmmm cake....

3. Do you ever make gifts for people, if so what, or do you buy them?
Sometimes.  Sometimes I get a great picture and pass it on.  Sometimes I - yeah.  Never mind.  I buy them.  LOL

4. You are chosen to have lunch with the President. The condition is you only get to ask one question. What do you ask?
Wanna play hooky?

5. Which do you dislike most: pop-up ads or spam email?
Both.  Aren't they both spam in some fashion?

6. What was the best party you've ever been to?
Um, really?  The one with your mom.  And the party in my pants is always the best!  LMAO  Jesus.  I don't know!

7. Which is worse, being in a place that is too loud, or too quiet?
You can always add background noise, you can't necessarily take it away.

8. You are offered an envelope that you know contains $50. You are then told that you may either keep it or exchange it for another envelope that may contain $500 or may be empty. Do you keep the first envelope, or do you take your chances with the second?
Well, that's a dumb question.  Catch me at the casino with the first envelope!

9. Do you wish cellphone etiquette was a required class upon purchasing one?
Can you hear me now?!  WHAT?  Oh..  sorry.  I didn't realize the movie started..

10. What's the most messed up food combination that you've had that was actually good?
Scrambled eggs with grape jelly.  I went to a sleepover when I was a wee lass, and the mom made me try it.  It was delightful!

11. What's one of your most random pet peeves (something that annoys you)?

Bad grammar.  I "seen" that... Makes me NUTS..

12. When is the last time you had home cooking?
Ahhhhhh well, I'm home.  And I cook.  So, um, all the time?

13. If you could be a fictional character from a book who would you choose?

19. If you were to attend a costume party tonight, what or whom would you go as?
Ok.  #1?  It's Sunday.  I don't go out and go crazy on Sunday nights.  #2?  It's Sunday.  Which means it's Walking Dead night.  Which means I'm not going anywhere!  #3?  It's the season finale, so ask me again next week.  LOL

20. What is your concession stand must-have at the movies?
Just a soda.  Once in a while I'll get plain popcorn, but that's it.  I've never liked the buttered - blech.  But even the plain is so salty, it's silly.   But one thing I've always liked?  Plain popcorn and M&M's.  I knew about chocolate covered popcorn before anyone else.  It's just delightful... Mmmmmm..... now I'm hungry.  I want cake, popcorn AND M&M's!

Happy Sunday1

The one where the picture gets to come into play again..

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: Too Close (2011)
Unfamiliar with this week's song? Hear it here.

1) This song is about a friendship that turned romantic ... and it doesn't end happily. Have you ever crossed that line with a friend? If so, how did it work out?
Nope.  Ever hear the expression "don't shit where you eat"?  It's true.

2) When he was a kid, this week's singer, Alex Clare, listened to his dad's Stevie Wonder records. When you were in 7th/8th grades, what music were you into?
Oh Jesus... Shawn Cassidy?  Partridge Family?  I'm a product of the 70's.  LOL
3) "Too Close" has been featured on the TV show, The Vampire Diaries. Do you enjoy shows/books/movies about the supernatural?
I can't get into anything vampire.  The books, movies, all of it - no interest.  Now zombie stuff - I'm all over.  So bummed that the season finale is tomorrow night of The Walking Dead.  My favorite show..

4) Some of Alex Clare's tour dates were sponsored by Bud Light. Do you like beer?  I love the fact that I can just answer a question with this:

5) Mr. Clare trained to be a chef, just in case the music thing didn't work out. Are you a good cook?
Damn good cook.  I'm a great cooker.  And baker.  And today, I am going to cook (very slowly) a beef brisket.  mmmmmmmmmmmmm

6) Crazy Sam is forever running out of mayo because she slathers it on her sandwiches. What is currently on your grocery list?
According to the boy we have no food in the house.  So, apparently "FOOD".   LOL

7) Where are you most likely to find spare change -- between the sofa cushions, in your jeans as you toss them into the washer, or under the floor mat of your car?
Jeans.  That's it.

8) How did you spend your Friday night -- working late, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying a quiet night at home?
Went out to celebrate a friend's birthday, and ended up home around 1 or so?  I was po'ful tired.  And no, not drunk.  Just tired.  LOL
9) Do you use Pinterest?
I have found many MANY projects that I want to complete there.  It's such a time suck, it's not even funny.

The one with no cobwebs or spitting!

Unfamiliar with this week's song? Hear it here.
1) This song refers to the merengue and the cha-cha. Are you a good dancer?
I can chair dance with the best of them!  LOL

2) Dances like the merengue and cha-cha are featured on Dancing with the Stars. Are you a loyal DWTS viewer?
I can chair dance... oh, wait.  No - I don't watch it.  I've tried a couple of times and just can't get into it.
3) The Copa girl in the song, Lola, wears yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there. If we were going to the clubs tonight, what would you wear?
Jeans.  T-shirt.  Something comfortable.  I'm past the whole "dressing up to go out" stage.  I'm over 40.  I don't give a shit.  LOL   I actually posted something this week that was incorrectly attributed to Andy Rooney - I don't really care who wrote it, I still love it.  You can read about it here:  http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/olderwomen.asp

4) The real Copacabana nightclub was on East 60th Street in New York. It was used as a setting for the movie Goodfellas. Do you have a favorite mobster movie?
Married to the Mob?  My Uncle Vinny?  LOL  Hands down - the Godfather series..

5) Our featured artist, Barry Manilow, has unfortunately spent a great deal of this young century in the hospital -- broken nose, face lift, chest pains and two hip surgeries. Tell us about your most recent trip to the doctor, ER, or dentist.
I won't tell you where, but you can imagine... There was a large wand inserted and it sort of looked around.  Didn't spit.  And great news - NO cobwebs!!

6) Manilow told US Magazine that he enjoys nude sunbathing. Have you ever skinny dipped or sunbathed au naturel?
Oh - in answer to someone's question before, you can tell that it's a bears because of what it contains - believe it or not.  The vegetation is a clue.
7) Before he became famous as a performer, Manilow was a very successful jingle writer. "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there …" and "You deserve a break today at McDonald's …" were his. Tell us about a TV commercial you saw recently.
I saw a new (to me) ETrade one with the kid, and there is a cat there as his sidekick.  Hysterical.

8) The Manilow faithful are known as Fanilows and proudly wear Barry hoodies, wristwatches and even dog tags. Do you have any clothes that feature a recording artist?
I have many different Springsteen shirts, from many different concerts.  I have a couple of DMB shirts from different shows, Van Morrison from Dublin (that one I never wear, but there was no questioning the need to buy it LOL), prolly a lot more.  Oh, and here's a yummy Bruce picture for you :)

9) In 2005, Manilow refused to respond when Larry King inquired about his sexuality. Do you think it's rude for interviewers to ask personal questions? Or is it something a performer should expect because it goes with the job?
Personally, I think if you are a celebrity - you have chosen to put yourself out there - but sometimes people get a little bit too intimate with their questions.  I don't care what goes on in Barry's bedroom, do you?  Ew.

Happy Saturday!  I'm having company this weekend, my cousin that is more like a little sister is coming up for the weekend, and Monday we're going to attend this fabulous party for the release of the summer brew by local brewer, Bell's Brewery.  Their summer brew is Oberon, and you can always tell when it's spring, because Oberon is released.  :)  They put on a big party all day - and we are going to partake!  Don't judge me because I took a day off for a beer.  Really.  It's not just any beer.  It's Oberon.  It's delightful.  It's delovely.  Groove is in the heart...

Hope all is well with everyone in the interwebbies.  I'm grateful for another day to try and get it right :)

The one with the bears again, and cornflower blue eyes..

Let's go!!!

The Yeah Meme

From FYeah, Surveys!

Do you have another window or tab open? If so, what are they for?
Two, as a matter of fact..  Oh.  Wait.  Three.  Email, Facebook and the Sunday Stealing page.  :)

Do you like to cook/bake? Um... really?  Wait.  Does a bear shit in the woods?

What are you currently listening to? Silence... it's pretty nice.

How long have you lived in the house you live in? oooh fun.  I can answer this with pictures!  In May/June, 2008 it looked like this:

And then September, 2008 it looked like this!

You should see the neighborhood now!  Clowns to the left of me, jokers on the right..  not really LOL  But houses all around!

Are you tired?

Again?  Does a bear shit in the woods?  LOL  It's Sunday.  For some reason I've been going out every Saturday night lately.  So, um.. Yeah.   I'm tired.

Do you pick your words carefully, or just tend to blurt everything out? LOL I'm sorry.  We haven't met yet.  I'm Kathy.  Blunt from Boston.  LOLOL

Are you nice to everyone? Here's my deal.  You're nice to me?  I'm nice to you.   Plain and simple.  Yes, it really can be as easy as that..  BUT
Mess with my kid?  I'll be your worst nightmare ever.  Just ask his father.

Have you ever tripped in public?
Wow... I can use this again!  Does a bear..

Are you a morning person or a night person? I am nothing until I've had at least 1/2 pot of coffee..

Is it easier to forgive or forget? Oh, I'll forgive.  But I won't forget.  Unless I get Alzheimers.  Then we'll all be best friends every day!  There's an adult foster care home called "New Friends Dementia Home" or something like that.  It totally cracks me up.  Because every day - they're new friends!

Is there something that’s recently shocked you? This whole Malaysian plane thing.  Really.  It's not a needle in a haystack, or is it?  How do you hide a big ass plane?  And didn't anyone on board have a cell phone?  Come on now...

Which is harder: walking away from somebody you love or coming back? Hmmmm.... I've done both.  Came back twice - both times should have kept walking.  You live and you learn.  Neither is easy.

What were you doing at midnight last night? Drinking a delightful Raspberry Ale.  With a glowing green plastic ice cube.  It was pretty... See?

What color are your eyes?
Blue... But not a cornflower blue, that's for sure.   More like baby blues... :)

Does a bear shit in the woods?

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

"The Unicorn" was selected because Monday is St. Patrick's Day. Unfamiliar with this week's song? Hear it here.

1) This song was recorded by The Irish Rovers. While it's said that on St. Patrick's Day everyone is Irish, can you honestly claim Irish heritage?
Aye, but of course!

2) According to the 2000 Census, Massachusetts is the state with the largest percentage of residents of Irish descent. Have you ever been to The Bay State?
Well, considerin' that was where I was fer shur born, I suppose so!  So that should bolster your opinion of my #1 answer :)

3) Other than St. Patrick, what is Ireland famous for?Now this is when I wish I had my negatives turned into a disc full of pictures..  The Cliffs of Moher..  Castles,  Guinness, Waterford Crystal, Beleek, Guinness, great golfing, beautiful lush countryside, colored sheep, gorgeous drives (on the wrong side of the road, ye know)..

4) St. Patrick's Day is celebrated the world over. They even watch marching bands and wave Irish flags on St. Patrick's Day in Moscow. Does your town have a St. Patrick's Day parade? Yes, and it's actually happening right now.  But I decided that you, my faithful readers, were more important.  :)  Or sleeping in.  You decide.  LOL

5) "The wearing o' the green" is one way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Will you wear something green in honor of the day?In my younger, thinner days, I had a wee little bit of a thong with four leaf clovers on it.   This year?  I think I'll wear my (green) Boston with a shamrock t-shirt :)

6) Have you ever had green beer?Does a bear shit in the woods?  Oh wait.. Here.  You decide... And if you haven't had it, just be prepared for some colored poop of your own... lol

7) Have you ever ordered a Shamrock Shake at McDonald's?To be sure, they're a wee bit better with the Oreos mixed in..

8) A four-leaf clover is considered good luck. Do you have a lucky charm? To turn serious for a minute... I had a bit of a health "scare" this week and while I was waiting for some results - which thank God turned out to be nothing - I wore my mother's ring.  Not sure if that brought me luck, but not sure if it didn't either.  :)

But it was a long few days.  Thinking the worst, and then finding out the best.  Whew!

9) Speaking of Lucky Charms, they are magically delicious.  What brand of cereal is in your kitchen right now?
They're magically full of sugar, they are!  LOL  Honey Nut Cheerios, Krave (another junk one), Honey Nut O's, Chocolate Cheerios, Peanut Butter Cheerios (which, mixed with the chocolate ones - is quite tasty)...

Happy Saturday, and appreciate the good things in life :)

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. From Arynmay

1. Have you ever pretended to read a book to impress someone?
No.  Why would I do that?  I do remember buying a book by e.e. cummings once because someone I know had one and IT impressed me.  And I had a huge crush on him.  I never told him that I bought it though.  That's dumb.  Why pretend to do/be anything to impress someone?  I am who I am.  Nothing more, nothing less.

2. Have you ever pretended not to read a book in order to avoid embarrassment?

No.  I'll admit it.  I read all 3 of the Shades of Grey books.  Not the best writing, not a fan of the "every man is broken and must be saved" theme.  But they were interesting..

3. What’s your worst reading habit?
Reading late into the night when I should be sleeping..  Then I have to go back and re-read.  LOL

4. What book are you most proud of having read?

All of them.

5. Do you buy most of your books new, second-hand, electronically or borrow via the library?
Yes to all of the above.  I'm really into reading them on the iPad now, easier to carry around and not quite so heavy.  Right now I'm reading Stephen King's one about Kennedy.  It's good.  I had lost touch with Stephen, I'm glad we're friends again.  LOL

6. Have you ever pretended to watch a film to impress someone?
Again - no.  That's dumb!  Although there was that porn film that... No.  Wait.  Never mind.  LOL

7. Have you ever pretended not to have watched a film in order to avoid embarrassment?
See #6.  LOL

8. What movie have you watched the most?
Since I'm not into re-watching movies like I was in my fragile youth (BAH!  Just kidding LOL) I'd have to say probably The Princess Bride.  Me, Julie, Ed and sometimes Jimmy (aka Wesley) would watch it all the time.  Say the lines with them.  Ad lib some others.  And then there was this...

9. What film do you tell people is your favorite ever?
I don't know that I do tell people that a particular one is my favorite.  The Bride is up there, though - I'll tell you that much!

10. What film is actually your favorite ever?
Didn't you just ask that?  Wait a minute, you keep saying that word.  I do not think it means what you think it means...

11. What time do you usually wake up and get up in the mornings?
Weekdays?  Up and in the shower by 6:15.

12. Do you wake naturally or does something/someone wake you up?
I have an alarm.  And a cat.  You figure it out.  LOL

13. How many snooze alarms do you need?
Don't judge my snoozes...

14. What’s your routine on a workday/work at home morning?

I'm up and in the shower by 6:15.  Didn't we just go over this?  Is this the Department of Redundancy Department?

15. What’s your routine on a non-workday morning?
Depends... Did I go out the night before?  Was I over-served?  Nahhh. it doesnt matter.  Coffee.  Meme.  Poop.  That's my routine.  LOL

Get yer ass out and walk up and down Rte 18 until you find a job, dammit...

1) Spring, summer, fall or winter: which season do you consider most wonderful? I love 'em all.  Except, this year, I'm over winter now.  Spring can be here any time...

2) Crazy Sam learned this song when she played flute in the high school orchestra. Did you participate in many after-school activities?
I, too, was a flautist..  Up until my junior year, I think?  I didn't participate in many after-school things, though.  Looking back, I wish I had.

3) The flautist next to her in the orchestra was Jeanne Pepitone. After a little Facebook spying, Sam learned that Jeanne is now Jeanne Moran, a nurse with a husband and a daughter. Sam shot her a "friend request." Do you keep up with your high school classmates?

Yes, Indeed!  I even helped plan our 30th reunion - through Facebook.  It was a blast, too.

4) When she performed with the school orchestra, Sam was required to wear gray slacks and a black sweater. What are you wearing right now, as you answer these questions?Well, seeing as I am in the comfort of my own home, I'm wearing men's plaid PJ pants (wicked comfortable) and a blue t-shirt.

5) Sam was especially dedicated to the school orchestra because she had a crush on Mr. Hanley, the school's musical director. He was the dark/thin/sensitive type. Tell us about a teacher you remember, and why he or she stands out.

Herr Murray!  He was our German teacher, and a very cool guy.  I think now that he was a pot-smoking liberal - which in my eyes, makes him even cooler.  LOL

6) Because Sam was so crazy about Mr. Hanley, she was desperate to attend his band camp. Her parents wouldn't allow it unless she could pay her own way, and so she didn't get to go. Were your parents strict or permissive? If you have children yourself, what's your parenting style?BAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!  That's funny.  I was told when turned 16 to get my ass out and walk up and down Rte 18 (the main drag in town) until I found a job, and when I graduated from HS, that I had 30 days to find a full time job or move out.  Oh, and if I wanted to go to college?  To find the money myself.  My parents got married young, because my mother was pregnant - they were both escaping dysfunctional families, and had the 4 of us pretty quickly.  They did the best they could, I guess.  But the words "I love you"?  Not heard often (if ever).  Affection?  Same thing.  Doing things together?  Same thing.  They didn't know how to encourage a cohesive family unit.  Which was a result of how they were raised, I'm sure.  They really put the fun into dysfunction.  It wasn't all bad, but there was a LOT that could have been improved upon.  There is a reason why it was OK to move to Michigan.
My kid?  He's 17, *my* only kid (unlike his father - to which he is #5) has a car and no job (but he's working on that).  And college?  NOT going isn't an option.  And he's a great kid.  And I tell him I love him 10 times a day.

7) Sam liked Fridays because her favorite food, fried rice, was served in the school cafeteria. When you eat Chinese food, do you use chopsticks or a fork?I can use either.  Usually a fork though.

8) When Sam was a little girl, a new box of Crayolas could get her pulse racing. Now she loves her Sharpies. Do you enjoy shopping for school/office supplies?Ahhhhhh, no?  That doesn't excite me.  LOL

9) Do you have any plush toys? Or did you give them all up when you left childhood?

I used to have a stuffed frog, Paco.  He sat in the rear window of my camaro.  Until I totalled it.  Not sure what happened to Paco, but he was cool.  Now I have a bendable Goofy on my rear-view mirror in the Jeep.  I heart Goofy.  :)

Happy Saturday..

We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.

Let's go!!!

This one's an oldie but goodie from the archives!

1) Candle scents this month:
I'm sure there are candle scents every month.  I'm not sure what you're after here.  Are you asking about my candle scents?  I have many of them.  Pumpkin is one of my favorites..

2) What I read this month:
I'm currently reading Stephen King's book "11/22/63"  Very interesting so far!

3) Top three songs I was drawn to:
Well, I'm not usually *drawn* to songs, but this month I'm enjoying Blake Shelton - just about everything from him, but especially "Boys Round Here".  Gotta love the whole "chew tobacca, chew tobacca, chew tobacca SPIT" line.  LOL  Anything by Zac Brown Band.  Anything by Bruce.  Love the new album!  Really want to get some of the live shows soon.

4) Movies I saw:

None, believe it or not

5) Favorite tv moments of the month:
So happy The Blacklist is back.  James Spader is just incredible in that, and OMG so damn funny he kills me!  And of course, my new absolute fave - Walking Dead.  Rick looking out the door and telling Carl "it's for you".  LOL

6) Something yummy I made:
I have this new obsession - parmesan crusted chicken.  I can't make it like Noodles & Co. but mmmm it's good.

7) Restaurants where I ate:
Hmmph... I've had pub grub, but not any sit down with a date restaurants.  I'd need a date for that.

8) Five things I am loving this month:
I am absolutely loving getting out more and meeting new people - it's so fun (although I really need to cut back on the alcohol intake), Parmesan crusted chicken, salads with cranberries and home made dressing, pictures from my Alaska trip and the "wall of shame" I'm putting up.

9) A goal I had for this month:

Make it through it?  This winter has just been horrendous, weather wise.  I'm a snow lover, too.  But at this point?  I've had enough.  Done.  Finit.
10) This month I looked forward to:
The point where I can say "oh yeah, spring IS coming"!
11) Something I want to remember about this month:
Getting up and going to work each day?  Not sure what you're looking for here.. Every month is memorable to me.  Different months, different days, different reasons.  I'm happy every day I get up and can walk on my own 2 feet, express an opinion, eat food that I've paid for, and go to work in a job that pays me well.  So many people don't have any of that.  I'm grateful that every day I get another chance to do that.

12) A photo I took this month:
Kid I met at the Bob Marley tribute last night.  His hair cracked me up:

The one where I realize I really don't miss being rich... Well, not that much.. LOL

Unfamiliar with this week's song? Hear it here.

1) This song encourages us to "stick to the rivers and lakes you're used to." What body of water is nearest your home -- pond, lake, river, gulf or sea?

I am within a mile or so of Gull Lake.  *The* premiere all sports lake in SW Michigan, I'll have you know.  The view below is from where I used to live, on the shores of that lake.  Sigh.... I miss when I was rich.

2) Have you ever visited a waterfall? If so, please tell us about it.

This is me and my ex bf.  We were on a hike, in Alaska (yes, Alaska)- that was supposed to be like 1/2 mile, I think?  Three hours and I don't know how far we hiked - we got to this waterfall.  We continued the hike up to the lake it came from.  Gorgeous.  Absolutely gorgeous.   Sigh... I miss when I was rich (really it was him, but hey - whats yours is mine and mine is yours, right?  LOL)
Here - take a look-see

3) This song is from a CD entitled CrazySexyCool. Which word best describes how you feel today: Crazy, sexy or cool?

Yanno...I'm always crazy sexy AND cool.  Haven't you realized that about me yet?  Silly peeps...

4) The girls in TLC originally began hanging around together in an Atlanta-area hair salon. When did you last sit in a stylist's chair?
My girl Angie takes care of my hair on a regular basis.  She's awesome!
5) While she she spent her adolescence in Atlanta, bandmember Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins was born in Des Moines. Do you live in or near the town where you were born?
Nope.  854 miles away, according to Google maps.

6) One of T-Boz' recent public appearances was on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Do you watch any of the popular Bravo Real Housewives shows?
I used to watch the Beverly Hills one, and then I realized that they are all really really dumb.  Except Lisa - she's smart, that one.  And it made me sad. They're all ridiculously rich.  Sigh... I miss when I was rich.

7) In the 1990s, band member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was romantically involved with an Atlanta Falcons football player. They shared his upscale, two-story mansion. How would you describe your abode (house, cottage, apartment, condo, studio, etc.)?
Well, it's definitely NOT the one on the premiere sports lake of Gull Lake - which he bought when we were together (I actually picked it out, decorated, all that) - that one cost $1M plus.  Here's mine -  It started like this:

No lake, but a community pool.  No basement (that was too expensive). Cost?  Under $130K.  And means so more to me than that $1M plus house on the lake.   Why?  Because *I* bought this.  Me.  All me.  My money, my sweat, my tears - all that.  ME.  Oh yeah - and at this point?  I don't miss when I was rich that much.  It wasn't worth the fake friends, the back-stabbing, the paranoia - none of that.  People think it'd be awesome to be rich.  Not so much.  Although, I didn't let it change me.  What I do miss about it?  Knowing that the bills were paid every month - no robbing from Peter to pay Paul.  No skipping because you need food instead.  All that.
8) Ms. Lopes was accused of arson when, after the couple argued, that mansion happened to burn down. When was the last time you lost your temper? How did you express your anger? (If it was with a criminal act, you may wish to keep it to yourself.)
I'm sorry - have you READ my blog?  LOL  This is where I let all that anger out.  Oh, and I went and saw the therapist that myself and the ex bf mentioned above went to see (loved him that much)... He said #1 - I'm NOT crazy.  #2 - my family is beyond fucked up and his major question is WHY would people treat you that way? and #3 - he also agreed that because of the on-going contact that I have to have with the boy's sperm donor that I have the right to continue to be angry.  And poke.  Well, not like he gave me a blanket OK to poke, but I think you get it.  LOL  It really isn't me.  It's them.

9) Today the third member of TLC, Chilli, designs personalized handbags. They cost about $225 each. What's the most expensive thing you have bought recently?

Hmmmm...  I certainly don't spend money like I used to.  I was addicted to the online Coach outlet for a bit.  But I really really needed a new purse.  LOL  I'd probably say my Jeep - that's the most expensive thing I've bought lately.  I don't make big huge purchases any more.  Not that I did then, either (you know - when I was rich).  But I drove a Land Rover LR3 - that was pretty sweet.  I miss the cooler in the middle console.  That was a $55K purchase.  Yeah.  Cash.  I like my $6K Jeep better though.  :)  Because *I* bought it.
